this didnt help either, I got the same error on launch after signing into Connect and starting the game again. Then I tried to clear the cache directory in. I tried deleting the x.spool files in AppData, this worked but then when I launched ACV and tried to loud a game, none of the cloud saves could be used, so I restored those files back to their original location. I read a few other threads and posts at various forums and social media platforms but none of the suggestions have helped me.
Ever since I added 2-factor authentication to my account yesterday, I've been receiving this error every time I try to launch AC Valhalla (not sure about other ubisoft games, haven't tried them yet bc I'm only playing ACV right now).
